Service
Zonta’s primary goals are to serve the community, locally and internationally, and to promote the status of women. To accomplish these goals, members are expected to give a minimum of their time per year to service projects and fundraisers.
Zonta is a service club, and the Service Committee is at the heart of what our organization does best: enhancing the status of women through our time, talents, and other resources.
Monthly service projects help meet the needs of local agencies, organizations, and programs; and our ongoing partnership with RACS (Rape and Abuse Crisis Service) provides books, toiletries, and babysitting for women living in the shelter.
Through service and donations from our membership, we have made a difference for several organizations, agencies, and programs, such as:
Dreams to Reality
Salvation Army
JCHS Teen Moms
ABLE (Adult Basic Literacy Education)
Missouri River Regional Library
LU’s Math for Girls Day
Relay for Life
Samaritan Center
Metro Business College
Boys and Girls Club
Buddy Pack Program

Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association
Missouri Mansion Preservation
