Overflow parking for the luncheon will be at city lot 24. The linked parking pass will need to be put on the dashboard of vehicles parking at those locations. Parking is prohibited in slots assigned to the city.
Trolleys will be running to Capitol Plaza Hotel from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. coming through Handley Way between the lots. There will be a trolley stop sign where people can gather for pickup, and the trolleys will have extra copies of the parking pass should you need one. |

Celebrating Women Who Weather The Storm Location: Capitol Plaza Hotel Date: WEDNESDAY May 21, 2025 Celebration Speaker: Kesley Kobielusz, Meteorologist at KOMU Time: Luncheon 11:30-1 pm As our 24th Yellow Rose Luncheon Celebration Speaker, Kesley Kobielusz will talk with us about her career in meteorology as a broadcast meteorologist on KOMU in Columbia. She will share how both her life and career were shaped by the storm that swept her neighborhood as a young girl. We will also learn about her work in this scientific field and what it is like to be a woman in a traditionally male-dominated career.
In addition, we will honor “Lifetime Achievement Winner” Sharon Naught, and twelve nominees for their contributions and achievements. Two of these women will be chosen as Zonta’s “Women of Achievement.” Please join us as we celebrate “Women Who Weather the Storm.” |
